I don't know which "Blog" to post to - but it is almost the last day of 2008 so perhaps I will make the Robin Sears Blog my own family diary sort of blog - the Nest one will be for art, etc personal and the Rabbits one for Painted furniture and stuff. Sounds confusing, huh?Anyway - this is Daffodil - she joined our family the day after Christmas - she is Daisy's new friend and Daisy picked her out after visiting four different pet stores- we met some scary hamsters - none as adorable as Daffodil - Daisy has always wanted a "pet of her own" never mind that we already have 3 dogs and 3 indoor rabbits - we share them - now she has one of her own. Oh - and George is getting a tankful of fish! Will have to upload a photo of those too!
Daisy and George and I got to pat Sting Rays at the Mystic Aquarium on Sunday. They are very soft and smooth with a silky mucous all over them. They were in the tank with Sharks - we DID NOT pat the sharks. It was fun. We loved all the different fish and creatures.
Goodbye 2008! It has been a very busy year - going out with a big snowstorm all the birds are eating the crabapples and we are snuggled in with our cheese fondue and salad - grown up champagne for Dan and me, Children's sparkling cider for the kids. Now it's time to sit down and make our predictions for next year and reflect back on this one -
